How does this work?

What material is it made of and does it get hot?
It's made from high-quality stainless steel, food-safe and heat-resistant. Built to last and deliver great performance at every BBQ.However, while the material is strong and durable, the product is not designed to be repeatedly bent and unbent or forced beyond its natural opening angle, as this may damage or weaken the structure over time.
And Yes, since it's placed on the grill, the stainless steel heats up. This actually helps achieve a more even cook, including from the inside of the food.
& We recommend using gloves or tongs when handling it to avoid burns.
